Proposed Parking Bylaw Change on Heath Street

The Yonge + St. Clair BIA, in collaboration with Councillor Josh Matlow’s Office, and the Deer Park Resident’s Group, is seeking your support for an amendment to the current parking availability on Heath Street West, between Yonge Street and Bryce Avenue (shown below).

 

Currently, a 1-hour maximum parking limit is in place on this section of Heath Street. We are exploring an amendment to implement a 2-hour maximum parking limit to improve parking flexibility to support local businesses and visitors in the neighbourhood and enhance access to local amenities.

The proposed changes would apply to the section of Heath Street between Bryce Avenue and Yonge Street. Parking would continue to be free from 7am-6pm, while changing from a 1-hour to 2-hour maximum.
